The Victoria ISD Human Resources Department will host a districtwide Career Fair on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Victoria Fine Arts Center, located at 1002 Sam Houston Dr., for individuals interested in joining the district for the 2026-27 school year.
The Career Fair will provide prospective employees the opportunity to meet with campus and department representatives and learn more about available positions across Victoria ISD. Openings are available in a variety of areas, including teaching, classroom aides, clerical, transportation, child nutrition, custodial services, nursing, technology, administrative support, and other district support roles.
The event follows the recent approval of the Victoria ISD 2026-27 Compensation Plan by the Board of Trustees, which includes significant investments in employee pay and benefits to support and retain high-quality staff across the district.
As part of the approved compensation plan, all eligible district employees will receive a $1,000 districtwide retention incentive. In addition, Victoria ISD increased the districtโs healthcare contribution from $300 to $350 per month to help offset rising healthcare costs for employees.
Hourly employees across the district will also receive a $ 1.25-per-hour pay increase, while classroom and non-classroom teachers will receive a $1,150 pay increase for the 2026-27 school year. For additional details about the 2026-27 Compensation Plan, visit https://aptg.co/rtQll-.
