Ms. Armadillo graduated from Richard King High School in Corpus Christi, Texas and earn both her Bachelors degree and Masters degree in Music Education from Texas A&M University Kingsville. There she studied Trumpet under Dr. Jason Crafton, Dr. John Cord, and Dr. Kyle Millsap and studied Piano under Dr. Joacquin Reinhuber. She was an active member and held leadership positions in the Kingsville Symphony Orchestra, the Kingsville Wind Symphony, TAMUK Jazz Band 1, and the Javelina Marching Band.
Ms. Armadillo joined Mission Valley in 2015 and currently teaches music and art classes for grades Pre-K through 5th, and leads cross curricular activities for the campus. In addition to teaching at the elementary school, Ms. Armadillo is an adjunct professor at Victoria College, where she teaches private lessons for brass students, and assists with local bands and ensembles.
Ms. Armadillo believes every child has the ability to be artistic and is excited to work with the students at Mission Valley Elementary every day.
